Come Check Out The Orchard
Come See the Action!
We welcome your group to Beasley’s Orchard for a traditional Indiana fall adventure!
We will be happy to help you put together a fun and educational tour for your group. You may reach our tour coordinator, Linda, by calling 317-563-1487 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
We require a minimum of 15 paid guests for each tour. Two staff members per class are free after the minimum has been met. All chaperones and tag along siblings pay to attend the tour. Infants up to age 24 months are free. Be sure to check out the additional activities that can be added to any tour.
Whether you choose an apple tour, pumpkin tour, or combination tour... you’re sure to have a memorable day!
1 week prior to your tour: The tour coordinator will contact you requesting an updated count for the tour. Please include students, adult chaperones, teachers, and tag along siblings.
Paper Apple/ Pumpkin: Inside the barn is a visitor’s wall with a mural painted of an apple tree. Groups are invited to prepare an apple or pumpkin to hang on the wall. Please let your tour guide know that you have some artwork to hang on the wall.
Encourage Participants to Dress Appropriately: Being dressed to fit the weather is vital to the group having an enjoyable visit. Please check the weather forecast for the day of your tour. This is an outside activity and guests need to be dressed appropriately. Boots are suggested when going to the pumpkin patch if it has been a wet fall.
DAY OF THE TOUR
Collect all money: Money should be collected from all participants, including chaperones, prior to your arrival. Cash, checks and credit are accepted. A group payment will be taken by your tour guide at the end of the tour during snack time.
Count ALL participants: Please have an accurate count of students, adult chaperones, tag along siblings, and teachers prior to arrival.
Appropriate Snack for Students with Food Allergies: Sugar cookies and Beasley’s apple cider are served at snack time. The cookies are baked in our kitchen where nuts are used. If you are bringing a guest with food allergies, please bring an appropriate snack for them.
Bee Stings: On occasion, bees are present in the orchard. Ice is available in the unfortunate event that someone is stung.
Arrive on Time: Several tours are scheduled each day. If you are late, your tour will need to be modified in order not to inconvenience groups that have arrived on time.
Hand Sanitizer: We encourage you to bring hand sanitizer to use at snack time.
Weather: Tours operate rain or shine. If there is excessive rain or lightning, we will need to reschedule. If the weather is threatening, the tour coordinator will be in touch with the contact person on the day of the tour to discuss options. Feel free to contact the tour coordinator if you have any concerns.
