Christmas at the Orchard 2009

Hayrides!

Hayrides to the Pumpkin Patch every weekend in October from 10am - 5pm on Saturdays and 12pm - 5pm on Sundays. Cost is $2.00 per person. Under age 3, free with adult.

Pumpkins range in price from $2.00-$25.00, as they are priced by size. Most average Jack-O-Lantern types are between $5.00-$8.00.

29^th Annual Apple Pie Contest
This year marks the 29^th anniversary for our annual apple pie contest. The contest will kick-off the Heartland Apple Festival on Saturday, October 3^rd. Entry forms and details are available in the market, or click here to download the entry form. The $2.00 entry fee includes three pounds of the apples of your choice. Judging begins promptly at 9:30 a.m., followed by an auction of all pies. The money raised will go to help a local charity. These are some the best apple pies you will find in Indiana! Bake a pie and enter to win the Grand Prize of $50 and a lifetime of bragging rights. Bidders get to help a good cause while having fun, and go home with a yummy apple pie! Our neighbor across the street came over last year to get a pork burger and went home with three pies. Tony will tell you that it is an event you don't want to miss!
